CCMI History

CCMI is a division of United Communications Group (UCG), a privately held Maryland LLP.  Also based in Maryland, UCG is a B2B information publisher serving several diverse verticals – energy, healthcare, government procurement, mortgage and loan origination, software, funeral service and defense – making UCG one of the largest privately held publishers in the country.  CCMI has been part of UCG since 1990 when UCG acquired the company from McGraw-Hill.

Since the acquisition CCMI has enjoyed, through both organic growth and acquisition, an unbroken string of growth and profitability.   Notable acquisitions made include Communication Image Technologies, Salestar and Telecom Information Services, all of which have broadened CCMI’s portfolio of customer solutions and contributed to CCMI’s success.
